Lunches of Love is a hands-on meal-packing event you host at your location. Your volunteers show up, pack lunches, and make a real difference for kids and families facing hunger in Charlotte. It’s simple to host, energizing, and fun for all ages.
Where Your Meals Go
Once packed, your meals are immediately delivered to over 60 approved nonprofit feeding programs across Charlotte and the surrounding areas, including transitional housing, afterschool and youth programs, addiction recovery centers, homeless outreach programs, senior outreach, refugee housing communities, food pantries, and more.

What It Takes to Host
Hosting is simpler than you’d think. All you need is:
- An indoor space: your office, church, or community room works great
- Willing hands: friends, coworkers, or congregation members ready to pitch in
- Tables for packing: we’ll help you figure out the setup
- Funding at $2.50/meal: covering the food your team will pack and send out
