Feeding Charlotte Feeds!
Feeding Charlotte is looking to unite volunteers to feed 5,000 community members. Prep for the food portion will happen on May 3rd from 3-5:30pm at the below listed location and will consist of building 5,000 bag lunches for distribution across distribution sites throughout Charlotte. Volunteers can also help distribute the lunches on May 4th.
Date: May 3rd for food prep & May 4th for distribution
Timing: 3-5:30pm for prep on May 3rd – Drivers and loaders for distribution on May 4th from 9am – 11am
Volunteer Ages: All ages (Kids welcome)
Venue: Central United Methodist Church 6030 Albemarle Rd Charlotte, NC 28212
Amount of Volunteers Needed:
- Prep 3rd = 200
- Distribution 4th = 15 drivers (Must Have Vehicle), 10 loaders
Amount of Meals: 5,000 meals
Coffee and Conversation 2024
Please join us for our annual event where we’ll have a panel discussion about the state of food insecurity in Charlotte, the environmental effects of food waste, and the beauty of food rescue. We’ll have a variety of FREE coffees and beverages, along with pastries and various breakfast foods. We’ll also have fun prizes, great conversation and you’ll get an exclusive look into the future of Feeding Charlotte.
